Workshop at Vodafone by our speaker J. Sá

Our speaker J. Sá gave a workshop to the top managers of Vodafone on the topic:

Nobels Thaler and Kahneman of behavioral economics: the revolution in digital marketing

The workshop focused on:

  • The application of behavioral economics to the various areas of business management
  • The application of behavioral economics to marketing
  • The application of behavioral economics to digital marketing
  • Concrete examples of the telecommunications sector

The Nobel Prize in Economics awarded to Richard Thaler in 2017 (and previously to Daniel Kahneman in 2002) is now having a revolutionary impact on both economics and all areas of business administration (management, marketing, etc.): just as an example just in the areas of pricing and negotiation/sales/communication, behavioral economics created 30 and 52 new techniques, respectively.

After the workshop, Vodafone’s managers were divided into groups of four and J. Sá gave coaching sessions to each group. Then each group produced a suggestion of action (new product, change in the existent products, etc.) to present to the board of Vodafone.
