R. GONZAGA DETAILED INFORMATION:
R. Gonzaga is the director of the food & health division at a major biology Institute and also a Professor at the Lisbon University.
She has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and her main goal of research is focused on food components and food digestion. R. Gonzaga is responsible for the Food Functionalities and Bioactives Laboratory at ITQB, and head of DCTB (toxicological and bromatological sciences department) at the faculty of pharmacy in the University of Lisbon.

Demonstrating that simplicity is complexity solved and that simplicity is the greatest sophistication, R. Gonzaga presents the five dos and five don’ts, in a total of ten, regarding what to eat and how to combine in order to:
- Use food for pleasure – how to eat everything you want;
- Health – develop your immunology;
- Control of weight.
In 40 minutes R. Gonzaga shows how the most recent scientific breakthroughs allow us to use food to replace all types of medicines and thus live well by eating well.
